This best seller tells of the young Dutch factory worker's incredible efforts to transport Bibles across closed borders - and the miraculous ways in which God provided for him every step of the way. Brother Andrew _____ VIPS - The Christian Catalyst Collection. Also, The Hawk That Dare Not Hunt by Day is available in our local library. God’s Smuggler remains my all time favorite book. It inspired my faith and touched my heart. Thank you for giving a needy world this gift of truth!
God's Smuggler by Brother Andrew and John & Elizabeth Sherrill was narrated by Simon Vance who did an excellent job of reading the book. I really enjoyed God's Smuggler; I've read it twice. God’s Smuggler remains my all time favorite book. As a young boy, Brother Andrew had daydreams of becoming a spy and working undercover behind enemy lines.

Fewer Christians ask me for Bibles compared to the communist countries, because with communism they were in countries where there were a church and the Bibles were taken away. Like you, I'm not sure what to make of the daring-God-to-provide theme, but since it is clear that Andrew's intentions were honorable, it didn't bother me a whole lot. When he grew up and became a Christian, he became an undercover agent for God by delivering Bibles to Communist countries. Brother Andrew was his name, and for decades his life story, recounted in God’s Smuggler, has awed and inspired millions. But beyond daring border crossings and renowned books, what makes Brother Andrew inspiring to many, however, is not just the extraordinary parts of his story. God’s Smuggler Confesses Brother Andrew wonders if American Christians are willing to die for anything, even their faith. God's Smuggler has to be one of my favorite biographies - of all time.
